Hamilton edges Ferrari duo in first free practice session in Melbourne

Hamilton's 1m23.599s, set on Pirelli's soft compound, just edged Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel by 0.038s while Charles Leclerc was right behind 0.074 adrift. Red Bull Racing's Max Vesrtappen and Valtteri Bottas rounded off the top-five while Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen led the mid-field pack.
