Todt: F1 will not go electric

FIA president Jean Todt has said that Formula One won't be switching to electric power in the future, adding the idea was "nonsense". Formula One will not be going down the all-electric formula route like Formula E has done. Previously, Ross Brawn had claimed that there was nothing stopping F1 from going all-electric in the future but recently Todt dismissed that notion, reasserting that F1 and Formula E will remain seperate in design.
