Formula 1 sticks to three-day race weekend

Formula 1 will stick to the traditional three-day Grand Prix weekend, admitting that a two-day race alternative was under consideration but is now on the back burner. Motorsport director Ross Brawn confirmed, 'There is an acknowledgement on our part that we need to have three-day events because circuits and broadcasters want fans to engage for that length of time. Thoughts of a two-day event have certainly been put back for future discussion.'
