Spanish Grand Prix: FP1 summary and results!
Bottas and Mercedes send a warning signal down the paddock towards Ferrari, as Bottas sets a fantastic 1:18.148 thrashing anyone else on the grid. His Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton backed him up finishing 2nd after a strong Mercedes FP1. Ferrari could only get within 0.950 seconds of the Silver Arrows. It's certainly the start that the German team were hoping for this weekend. Under the new front nose, McLaren had a positive session with Alonso finishing 6th fastest getting close to the Red Bull boys.
