Williams confirms launch date for 2018 challenger

Williams have become the latest team to confirm the launch date of their 2018 car, the FW41, which will be revealed during a launch event in London. The covers will be pulled off the car on February 15, making it the earliest confirmed launch so far, with Mercedes and Ferrari launching on February 22, followed by McLaren and Toro Rosso. The FW41 will be the first Williams car developed by chief technical officer Paddy Lowe after he joined the team in March last year. Meanwhile the Grove outfit will feature the grids youngest driver pairing in 19-year-old Lance Stroll and 22-year-old Sergey Sirotkin, who makes his debut this season, replacing the retired Felipe Massa.
