Martin Whitmarsh to help shape the future of Formula E

Former McLaren F1 head man Martin Whitmarsh has joined Formula E's 'Global Advisory Board', and will help steer the burgeoning all-electric series into the future. The board, whose purpose is "to steer the future direction of Formula E as a key player in influencing the global uptake of electric vehicles and its impact on reducing emissions", is chaired by four-time world champion and FE edams co-owner Alain Prost. The F1 legend heads the board alongside former executive secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Christiana Figueres.
