Vettel agrees new Ferrari deal through to 2020

Sebastian Vettel has penned a new deal with Ferrari through to the end of the 2020 Formula 1 season, the team confirmed on Saturday. Vettel joined Ferrari from Red Bull on a three-year deal in 2015 and was out of contract for 2018, as he repeatedly insisted that he was in no hurry to finalise his future. Vettel told assembled media on Thursday that no developments were expected until after the team's home event in Italy next weekend, but Ferrari confirmed on Saturday that a new deal has been reached. In a short statement, Ferrari said that is has 'extended its technical and racing agreement with driver Sebastian Vettel for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 racing seasons of the Formula 1 World...
