F1 launches new fan initiatives at the Spanish GP

The Spanish Grand Prix will play host to the first ‘Fan Festival’ in Formula 1, with a new initiative launched under new owners Liberty Media. The fan zone at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be ‘reimagined’, with racing simulators, a 200-metre zip line, state of the art Pit Stop Challenges and live performances from local DJs all featuring, in order to aid the experience for spectators. There will also be a dedicated television channel launched at the event for fans in attendance, which will feature live interviews, insights from experts, and appearances by Formula 1 legends.
