Kevin Magnussen heads to Haas for 2017

Kevin Magnussen is expected to sign a multi-year deal with Haas F1 Team, multiple sources suggest. There has been no official announcement and the Renault Sport F1 Team have yet to confirm their 2017 Formula 1 drivers, but ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix, team principal for Haas, Guenther Steiner, confirmed that Magnussen was one of the three names in the frame for the remaining seat. Sources have revealed that negotiations with the Dane have continued since the race at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. With him now in a position to agree to a contract with the American-led team.
