Alonso faces hefty grid drop for new PU

– McLaren-Honda driver Fernando Alonso faces a grid drop worth 35 places at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, having taken on a brand new power unit after Friday's first practice session.Alonso and team-mate Jenson Button moved on to their fifth new power units at Spa-Francorchamps, incorporating Honda's seven-token spend on ICE and Turbocharger updates.Alonso, however, was restricted to just three out-in laps in FP1, amid technical trouble, with the team subsequently electing to fit another new power unit to his car for the remainder of the event.Alonso will receive a 10-place penalty for using a sixth element for the first time, and additional five-place drops for swapping each of...
