Kimi Raikkonen: “We tried to do our maximum”

Kimi Raikkonen admitted that his Scuderia Ferrari team just did not have the pace this weekend at Silverstone after being forced to settle for fifth, more than a minute adrift of race winner Lewis Hamilton. The Finn endured a tough afternoon in the mixed conditions, a couple of times taking the run-off area at turn one after mistakes at turn one, and despite the car behaving better once on slicks, it was still far from the best weekend of the season for Ferrari.
