European GP: Hamilton stays on top in FP2 as Rosberg hits trouble

Lewis Hamilton stayed on top of the times in second practice for the European Grand Prix as Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg hit problems. Hamilton, who had topped the morning session, went over two seconds faster than in FP1 as the track conditions continued to improve. The world champion outpaced teammate Rosberg by over six tenths of a second after the German's running came to a halt with over 20 minutes left on the clock. Rosberg lost power and was asked to park his Mercedes. Force India showed promising form, with Sergio Perez in third and Nico Hulkenberg in fifth, the Silverstone-based squad's duo split by the Williams of Valtteri Bottas.
