Vettel heads close final practice session

Scuderia Ferrari Sebastian Vettel led the way during a tightly-contested final practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix. Vettel clocked a lap of 1:14.650 to edge out Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton by just 0.018s, with Nico Rosberg a tenth of a second further back in third. Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo was 0.157s behind Vettel in fourth spot, indicating a three-way fight for overall honours this weekend. Max Verstappen survived a scare when he brushed the wall at Massenet and ended up fifth overall.
