Lewis: Faster cars won't help
Lewis Hamilton has again cast doubt over the planned rule changes in F1, insisting faster cars won't deliver better racing. The world champion claimed last week that people making the sport's rules don't have an understanding of how cars work, with the one-clutch start at the Australian GP one of his annoyances. Plans are also afoot to make cars five seconds per lap quicker in 2017 through aerodynamics but Hamilton, who was criticised by F1 technical delegate Charlie Whiting for failing to attend driver meetings to express his views, says he knows racing won't improve with the proposed changes.
