Häkkinen concerned by Sainz Jr. incident
– Double World Champion Mika Häkkinen has questioned why the Safety Car was not deployed after Carlos Sainz Jr.'s stoppage early in the Brazilian Grand Prix.Sainz Jr., having ground to a halt on his lap to the grid, started last weekend's race from the pit lane, only to pull to the side of the track between Turns 5 and 6 on the first lap.As marshals worked to retrieve Sainz Jr.'s car, only yellow flags were waved, with Race Control opting against deploying the virtual or full-blown Safety Car."In my opinion, this was clearly a mistake; the Safety Car has been sent out in much less dangerous situations," Häkkinen said during his latest Hermes blog."I know the section...
