Newey to lend his expertise to F3 team

Red Bull Racing designer Adrian Newey will be joining Van Amersfoot Racing to help the Dutch outfit with its European Formula 3 efforts. According to Autosport, Newey, in addition obviously to his F1 commitments with Red Bull, will be lending a helping hand to VAR's technical staff in order to extract the full potential from its VW-powered Dallara contender. The fact that Adrian Newey's son, Harrison, is currently being considered for a seat with VAR may well justify the technical wizard's involvement, or indeed it may even be the deciding factor in recruiting the young hopeful.
