Valtteri Bottas given grid penalty

Brazilian Grand Prix – Williams' Valtteri Bottas has been given a three place grid penalty for this Sunday's race in Brazil after overtaking another car under red flag conditions. The red flags were displayed halfway through the afternoon's FP2 session, due to Fernando Alonso's McLaren breaking down on track and requiring removal. The drivers all returned to the pitlane, but Valtteri Bottas was just a little bit too eager while circulating back to his garage. The Williams driver overtook the Sauber of Felipe Nasr between Turns 5 & 6 while the red flags were deployed, and he was summoned before the stewards at the end of the session.
