Leimer to make FP1 debut with Manor
Hungarian Grand Prix – 2013 GP2 Champion Fabio Leimer is set to make his Formula 1 race weekend debut in Hungary as Manor confirmed he will drive in FP1. Leimer, who was unveiled as Manor's reserve driver at the start of June, has yet to drive the Manor MR03B but will be given his first opportunity this weekend. The 26 year old Swiss driver will take over the car of Roberto Merhi for the first session of the weekend, before handing it back to the Spaniard for the remainder of the event. He recently raced in Formula E, replacing the ill Jaime Alguersuari at Virgin Racing for the London rounds.
