Mechanical woes cost Toro Rosso points
+ Toro Rosso’s chances of scoring points in the Chinese Grand Prix were dashed due to mechanical woes, as both cars incurred separate issues during 56-lap race. Max Verstappen was running in eighth position before a drivetrain issue struck his Toro Rosso with just a handful of laps to go, forcing him out of the race. “It’s a disappointing way to end what was being a great race!” said the Dutch youngster. “To be running in the points positions but then have to stop the car so close to the end of the race is very frustrating. “I’m obviously not happy with the final result but as a team we did the best job possible today.
