Lotus 'were very close to scoring points'

– Lotus Deputy Team Principal Federico Gastaldi has said that he was happy with the squad's performance in the Singapore Grand Prix, even though the outfit extended their run of races without points.Pastor Maldonado and Romain Grosjean briefly threatened the points-paying positionse before ultimately ending up 12th and 13th at the flag."We were very close to scoring points with Pastor and Romain. Unfortunately we couldn't convert the potential into reality in the end but the team did a great job to get both cars to finish the race after the difficulties that we had through the course of the weekend.
