Haas changes F1 team name

Gene Haas has changed the name of his new Formula 1 team, which is set to debut on the grid in 2016. The American outfit was originally granted an entry for 2015 under the Haas Formula name, but it was announced in June that the planned launch of the team had been postponed by a year. Haas F1 Team is the new name of the squad, which will be based in Kannapolis, North Carolina. 'Haas F1 Team automatically conveys our place among the pinnacle of motorsports,' said Haas.
