Lotus confirms Maldonado for 2015

Lotus has confirmed Pastor Maldonado will continue to drive for the team in 2015 but remains guarded over who the second driver will be. Maldonado joined the team from Williams over the winter, bringing with him substantial backing from Venezuelan oil company PDVSA. Now Lotus has confirmed that it has taken up an option on another year for next season, with team principal Gerard Lopez saying there is more to come from the partnership. "I don't want to give too much away, but as it's half way through the season I can confirm 50% of our driver line-up for 2015 as Pastor is with us for next year," Lopez said.
