Kobayashi hoping to show Caterham progress

Caterham F1 Team Kamui Kobayashi is hopeful that he can show the progress Caterham has made as the season reaches its halfway point in Germany this weekend. Caterham was bought by a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors prior to the British Grand Prix, a race which Kobayashi feels did not reflect accurately on the squad's progress after a series of issues across the weekend. The Japanese driver was hit by an ERS problem during qualifying and damaged his car on the opening lap of the race when he went off to avoid Kimi Raikkonen's stricken Ferrari.
