McLaren surprised by FRIC ban

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier admits it has been surprised by a technical directive from the FIA that interconnected suspension systems could be banned. Charlie Whiting sent a technical directive to all the teams explaining that front and rear interconnected suspension [FRIC] systems are likely to be considered illegal by the FIA and banned in future.
