Prodromou to start with McLaren in September

Aerodynamicist Peter Prodromou will begin working with McLaren in September according to chairman Ron Dennis. The former Red Bull chief aerodynamicist had been due to start work in January after the Milton Keynes outfit refused him early leave and insisted he see out his contract. However a legal battle between the two teams over fellow aerodynamicist Dan Fallows, which almost led to high court action, looks to have resulted in Prodromou's early release. "We've got Peter Prodromou joining us in September so that will be a big step," said Dennis. "It will bolster our revitalised aero team, so I'm not concerned about aero performance next year.
