Maldonado optimistic E22 will suit the Red Bull Ring

Pastor Maldonado says he is optimistic that the Red Bull Ring – the venue for the next round on the 2014 Formula 1 calendar – will suit the Lotus E22. The Venezuelan driver retired from the last race in Canada with a power-unit problem and felt that he could have scored his first points of the season. However, he is – like his team-mate – feeling positive ahead of Formula 1′s return to Austria and believes the Enstone-based outfit's 2014 car should be more competitive at the track.
