McLaren hoping to make steps forward with Austria updates
McLaren is hoping to make a strong step forward at the next race in Austria, thanks to a new update package.
The Woking-based outfit has so far had a mixed start to the season. Following a double podium finish in Australia and two top 10 results in Malaysia, McLaren failed to score points in the next three races.
After returning to the top 10 in Monaco, the team secured its best result since the season opener at the last race in Canada, with Jenson Button finishing fourth and Kevin Magnussen taking the chequered flag in ninth.
Racing director Eric Boullier, who joined McLaren at the start of the year as part of a major senior management restructuring, expects the MP4-29 to make a good step...
