Rosberg involved in promo accident

– Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg was involved in a car accident on Tuesday which left two people injured.The German was participating in a Mercedes promotional event alongside DTM driver Pascal Wehrlein at Germany's pre-World Cup football camp in Italy, with Julian Draxler and Benedikt Howedes as passengers.Reports suggest that Rosberg slowed to avoid a spectator who had ventured on to the track, followed by a marshal, with Wehrlein swerving but hitting the two people, one of whom was air-lifted to hospital.Rosberg and Wehrlein were unharmed, while Draxler and Howedes resumed training in the afternoon."I am shocked by the accident," said Rosberg via Twitter.
