Both Sauber drivers crash out in Monaco

Sauber’s terrible 2014 season continued around the narrow and twisty streets of Monaco after both Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez crashed into the unforgiving barriers. With Jules Bianchi scoring the first points in Marussia’s history, Sauber now drops to 11th in the constructors’ standings. Gutierrez and Sutil were both eliminated from qualifying in the first session and lined up for the 61st Monaco Grand Prix in 17th and 18th. Sutil made an early pit stop on lap one after the safety car was deployed to clear Sergio Perez’s crashed Force India. When the race resumed, he soon moved up the order after some stunning overtakes on the likes of Romain Grosjean and Max Chilton....
