Gutierrez: We've improved, now we need points

Esteban Gutierrez is confident that Sauber has made progress over the past few races, but admits that a good result is needed this weekend in Monaco to prove this. The Swiss team has made a poor start to the season, failing to score any points and rarely looking capable of finishing inside the top ten. In Spain, Gutierrez and teammate Adrian Sutil struggled home in 16th and 17th place respectively despite promises of a major upgrade package. The result may have suggested otherwise, but the Mexican driver – currently in his sophomore year in F1 – insists that the team is heading in the right direction.
