Perez admits more speed in Force India

Sahara Force India Sergio Perez has admitted that he was unable to extract the maximum speed from the Force India VJM07, despite making it through to Q3 during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix. Perez rounded out the top 10 but conceded that he should have put his car higher up on the grid. "Although it’s good to be in the top 10, I’m feeling a bit disappointed not to be higher up the grid," he said. "My hot lap in Q3 was quite difficult and I had a lock-up going into the Nouvelle Chicane – so there was definitely more speed in the car. One of the main challenges was getting the tyres in the perfect working condition and I don’t think we maximised that today....
