Monaco Qualifying: Rosberg pips Hamilton

Nico Rosberg on his way to pole position for the Monaco GP Nico Rosberg will start the Monaco Grand Prix from pole position as he pipped teammate Lewis Hamilton in a session, held under glorious sunshine on the Cote D'Azure, which the Mercedes drivers once again dominated with Red Bull best of the rest. For fans it was a disappointing end to qualifying as an expected shootout between Silver Arrows duo Rosberg and Hamilton for top spot never materialised as on his final flyer Rosberg went into Mirabeau too hot and was forced to take the escape road.
