Hamilton sees off Rosberg to win a gripping Spanish GP

Lewis Hamilton held off a late charge from his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to win a tantalising Spanish Grand Prix, to take a fourth consecutive victory by a mere six hundredths off a second. Hamilton produced a faultless drive to see off what was a fighting performance by Nico Rosberg, who shadowed his team-mate throughout the 66-lap race, to secure a fourth successive 1-2 for Mercedes this year, and the team’s fifth victory of 2014. Daniel Ricciardo came home third for Red Bull to secure the first podium finish of his career.
