Frustrated Grosjean encouraged by E22 pace

Lotus F1 Team Romain Grosjean reckons that there is strong pace in the Lotus E22, but expressed his frustration after problems scuppered his running in Spain. The Frenchman suffered a couple of off-track excursions and ended his session prematurely after reporting problems under braking. Grosjean ended the day down in 17th place. But Grosjean remains encouraged by the pace shown by team-mate Pastor Maldonado, who set the ninth fastest time. "Today was frustrating as we had quite a few small problems which made it difficult for me to get clean runs and set a good time," he said.
