FIA releases full Red Bull appeal verdict

The FIA has released the full reasoning behind the International Court of Appeal's decision to reject Red Bull Racing's appeal of Daniel Ricciardo's Australian Grand Prix disqualification. After Monday's hearing in Paris, the sport's governing body confirmed on Tuesday morning that the initial decision by the stewards to exclude the Australian driver from the race – due to his car breaching the 100kg/h fuel flow limit – had been upheld. Red Bull denied any wrongdoing and said the FIA homologated fuel flow sensor was unreliable, instead opting to use their own measurements.
