Ricciardo won't attend Monday's appeal hearing

Daniel Ricciardo has confirmed he will not be in attendance during Monday's International Court of Appeal (ICA) hearing against his exclusion from second place at the Australian Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver stands to gain 18 points, which would put him third in the drivers' standings, should his team provide enough evidence to overturn the FIA's decision. Despite this, he says it would be pointless him attending. "I'll obviously wait to hear the result from the team, I'm sure they'll give me a call," he told Crash.net.
