Gerard Lopez has named Federico Gastaldi (right) as his deputy Sutton Images Enlarge Lotus has named Federico Gastaldi as its new deputy team principal. Lotus chairman Lopez took up the role of team principal in the wake of Eric Boullier's departure to McLaren, and has turned for support to Gastaldi, who has been at the team as business development director since 2010, with a relationship with Enstone stretching back to the Benetton days.
