Wolff: People will be pleasantly surprised

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes head of Motorsport Toto Wolff says that people will be surprised when the new Formula 1 season gets underway in Australia next weekend. Prior to pre-season testing, concerns were expressed in some quarters that the sport would lose its allure due to the introduction of 1.6 litre power units. But Wolff insists that people will be pleasantly surprised by the new regulations. "The new regulations have been a massive challenge for everybody involved, and the team has been pushing flat out to get the car to where it is now as we approach the first race in Melbourne," said Wolff.
