Mercedes want titles, Wolff admits

Mercedes Executive Director Toto Wolff admitted that the Brackley team wants to win both the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships. Speaking to German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the Austrian said that Mercedes' target is being "at the front of every race looking to win". "Titles are a requirement for Mercedes, that's why we're in Formula One. If it was different for us, we should stop immediately," he told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Amidst the struggles defending four-time champions Red Bull Racing and Sebastian Vettel have endured during pre-season, Mercedes-powered teams have consistently topped the time sheets during winter testing.
