Mateschitz has questions about 2015 Formula 1 budget cap 11 February, 2014 Dietrich Mateschitz With world champions Red Bull arguably the biggest spenders in pitlane, billionaire boss Dieter Mateschitz gave his views on plans for Formula 1 team budget caps starting in 2015 and this season's Ferrari driver pairing.
'At the moment the question of what is excluded and what else the manufacturers can redeploy in other budgets is still open,' he said.
'On one hand, billions were spent on the development of the new engines, which is not questioned,' added Mateschitz.
