Pirelli moves wet weather test to Wednesday
Pirelli has declared Wednesday's test day its wet weather day after overnight showers left the track in a damp state. The FIA gave the tyre supplier permission to allocate one day of testing to its wet weather tyres as per the regulations. That day had been scheduled for Friday, however an already damp track and forecast rain has pushed the test forward to Wednesday. In order to ensure the track remains wet throughout the day, tractor units will artificially wet the circuit throughout. That caused a 15-minute delay to the start of testing, with McLaren's Jenson Button first to brave the conditions after a day stuck in the garage on Tuesday due to an electrical issue.
