Williams confirms Jerez presence
Sutton Images Enlarge Williams has confirmed it will be present at the first pre-season test at Jerez at the end of January. After Lotus announced it would be skipping the opening test to do more development work on its new car - the E22 - team principal Eric Boullier claimed "we will not be the only team not being in Jerez, I know this for a fact already." However, since then McLaren has confirmed its launch date of January 24 and both Mercedes and Caterham have said they will be present in Spain, rolling their respective cars out on the first day.
