Newey: Red Bull 'stand to lose the most'

Red Bull Racing chief technical officer Adrian Newey believes the 2014 regulation changes will hurt the team more than any other on the grid. The new V6 Turbo power-units look set to become the most significant factor in establishing the running order next season. In recent years, aerodynamics has taken centre stage and this is where the Milton Keynes-based outfit have thrived. Exploiting gases from the exhaust has proved to be a very strong area for the team and Newey is fearful that they will lose out due to the introduction of one single exhaust tailpipe, putting an end to using exhaust gases for aerodynamic effect.
