Schumacher suffers head injury in skiing accident
– Seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher has been airlifted to hospital after a skiing accident in Méribel, France. The German reportedly fell and hit his head on a rock but was conscious when he arrived in hospital. Christophe Gernignon-Lecomte, director of the Meribel resort, told rmcsport.bfmtv.com: “Help responded quickly, at 11.15am. He was airlifted to hospital in Moutiers. He was shocked, a little shaken but conscious. “It may be a head injury but it is not very serious. He was wearing a helmet and banged [his head] against a rock.” The accident occurred at around 11.07 hours local time. Schumacher retired from F1 for a second time at the end of last season....
