BBC/Sky reveal broadcasting plans for 2014

British broadcasters Sky Sports F1 and BBC Sport have confirmed their coverage plans for the 2014 season which kicks off on March 16th in Australia. The pay-to-view service from Sky will offer all 19 races live, with ten of the races exclusively live, whilst the remaining nine will be available on the BBC. Those exclusive races are: Australia, Bahrain, China, Monaco, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Singapore, USA and Brazil. The BBC will show extended highlights later in the day. The BBC's head of F1, Ben Gallop, confirmed that viewing figures for the BBC's coverage increased on 2012 by 1.2 million and he's hoping for similar success next year.
