BBC to show nine live races in 2014

– The BBC has confirmed that it will televise nine races live during the 2014 Formula 1 season. As has been the case in previous years, the division of live and non-live races is finalised through negotiations with fellow British broadcaster Sky, which holds the rights to show all 20 events as they happen. The BBC's first live round will be Malaysia, before broadcasts in Spain, Canada and Britain. It will also air live in Belgium and Italy, while Japan, new location Russia and the season finale in Abu Dhabi conclude the roster.
