Kubica signs for full WRC championship

Getty Images Enlarge Robert Kubica has signed up for the 2014 World Rally Championship (WRC) as a return to Formula One remains unlikely. After making his WRC debut at the Wales Rally GB last month, Kubica has signed for M-Sport to contest the 2014 season. The move effectively rules out a return to single-seat racing for another year, with Kubica having admitted in November that Formula One looks "nearly impossible" for him at this stage. Following the signing, M-Sport managing director Malcolm Wilson said he has been keen to sign Kubica for some time.
