Kovalainen targeting solid points finish
Lotus F1 Team
Heikki Kovalainen believes he can score decent points during the United States Grand Prix.
Kovalainen, driving in place of the injured Kimi Raikkonen, qualified his Lotus in eighth place.
It was the first time the Finn has qualified in the top 10 since the Japanese Grand Prix four years ago, when he was driving for McLaren.
Kovalainen cited compatriot Raikkonen's typical progression from lowly grid slots.
'I knew yesterday that we had a good car, but I didn’t really set myself a target for qualifying,' he said.
