Perez confirms McLaren exit with emotional letter

Sergio Perez has confirmed his exit from the McLaren F1 team in a move predicted by many following reports that they will promote Kevin Magnussen to a full-time race seat. Perez, who joined the team at the start of the 2013 season, posted an emotional farewell letter on his Twitter page thanking the team and those who he's met this season. "First of all, I would like to thank McLaren for giving me the opportunity to be with them this season," it began.
