McLaren announcement due 'shortly'

Martin Whitmarsh won't take too much longer to announce his driver line-up with Sergio Perez expected to remain at McLaren. Although it has long been believed that Perez would partner Jenson Button next season, McLaren have held off confirming their line-up as they wanted to see how the Mexican racer progressed. And with season-best fifth place at the last race in India, Perez's future will be resolved in the near future. "When will we make our driver announcement? I expect we will be making it quite shortly," Whitmarsh said. The McLaren driver boss was also full of praise for Perez's drive at the Buddh International Circuit.
